Sunderland Unveil Third Kit for 2026/27 Season
Sunderland AFC has unveiled their third kit for the 2026/27 season, inspired by the club's rich glassmaking history. The new shirt will go on sale from August 8th.
What's in the Kit?
The new third kit is blue with a yellow pattern repeating across the shirt, inspired by the stained-glass effect and depicting the football within the club's historic ship crest. The back of the neck carries the words 'Glass Making Since The 7th Century', which was projected on St Peter's Church earlier this week.
Where to Buy?
The new shirt will go on sale online and in the club's two stores from 8am on Friday, August 8th. Supporters who join the queue will be given a limited-edition pin badge. The new third shirt will be priced at £65 for adults and £50 for juniors.
What's Next?
The club also intends to produce and sell a dedicated Europa League font for the shirt. Production of the font is currently awaiting UEFA approval, with further details to be confirmed.
